FuneralSmart has partnered with a network of modern, independent and local funeral directors, all working to deliver the best possible funeral care.
Each Funeral Home Partner is an independent funeral business yet at the same time each belongs to a larger funeral home network. So, while you operate your business as usual, you can also be assured that all our Partners are being supported by a network of colleagues. This means we can share good practice and ensure that we are collectively working to continually improve the quality of funeral care we provide.
Our Funeral Home Partners all deliver person-centred, flexible funeral care within their local communities and work hard to give people the style and tone of support that works best for them. Their focus is on supporting you to create a funeral which is helpful to you and your friends and family – this may be a traditional funeral, or include more modern and contemporary choices.
Funeral services in Australia are generally unregulated and there is no national minimum standards for funeral directors to comply with. Our Funeral Home Partner network means that all partners will have access to robust support and can share good practice with one another. We believe this creates a helpful balance of a funeral business remaining independent and local, while also receiving support from a wider, motivated and engaged team of colleagues.
By becoming a Funeral Home Partner, you will be supported by talented and thoughtful people focussed on delivering the best funeral care in their local community. Funeral Smart will deliver educational webinars, conduct funeral and bereavement research, shares blogs and newsletters and has published a funeral self-help book which is available globally.
If you would like to find out more about becoming a partner, or have any questions, feedback or suggestions about any of our work then please don’t hesitate to let in touch with us – we would love to hear from you.

The funeral industry is changing, with increasing administration and legislation, from health and safety to managing financial and staffing matters and more regulation on pricing and standards.
The support of FuneralSmart can take away much of the administrative burden on our Funeral Partners and frees them up to attend funerals and provide the personal, individual care to bereaved families that is at the heart of our business.
